Obituaries of Well Known People in Frostburg
Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Percy died in Frostburg on May 19 born August 22, 1844 in Indiana Pa. Survived by five children seven grandchildren two daughters and one son. Funeral last Sunday conducted by Rev. H H Beidleman and Rev. J H Bickford burial in Allegany Cemetery. Her active church work and civic efforts, especially for Miners Hospital Auxiliary, marked a long life of service. Also recalled is Rev. G W Cooper and Uncle William a beloved man of faith, humor, and gentleness who peacefully joined his Father’s house. Survived by sister Mrs. Mary Hocking of Johnstown and son John Mitchell Oates of Meyersdale.

Death by Own Hand Shocks Frostburg Auditor Louis C. Neid
Mrs. Neid found her husband Louis C. Neid dead on the cellar floor of their Tarn Terrace home. Authorities believe he was mentally irresponsive at the time of death.
