The 15 year old son of M T Anninch riding down J street yesterday morning near Freeno cache store. The horse slipped on a track and toppled, pinning the boy. Both bones above the ankle broken. He remained calm and managed the animal on one foot until help arrived. Dr Maupin set the fracture. the lad, now 18, rests easy.
Fresno residents learn storm boats already run regular trips up the San Joaquin.
