Fremont Town approves Indiana Utilities electric franchise
Fremont Steuben Indiana Board of Trustees passes a franchise with the Indiana Utilities Company to construct operate and maintain an electric light system in Fremont including street lighting for public and private use. The ordinance sets terms rates liability and obligations for the five year agreement ending July 1 1920 and directs a public hearing on November 8 1919.

Willard Ryan suffered a severe head injury in a corn shredder last Wednesday. Reuben Sellers hosted his son and family from Angola. Ben Ryan and daughter visited Ernest Balch in Fremont.
