Baltimore and Ohio Express No 9 westbound derailed near Pine Grove Station nine miles from Sayerstown when a fifty ton rock blocked the tracks. Three men were killed Engineer William Nicholson and Fireman William Reinhart of Glenwood Pa perished. Express messenger O E Stahl was badly burned and may die. No passengers were seriously injured.
