Stowaway Dick Harley Foils Shipboard Pirates
Dick Harley, a starving stowaway from England, endures cruelties aboard the Only Son of Portsmouth. He overhears a pirate plot to seize £250,000 in gold and alertly informs Captain and Mr. Lancelot, leading to Billings and accomplices’ capture and a grateful Chartered Company. Dick later reunites with his father in Salisbury Hospital as reward and trust shift to him.
