Twenty one Fort Wayne ministers sign a resolution denouncing rising divorces and vow to refuse to officiate weddings for anyone divorced unless per biblical teaching. They blame easy marriages for easy divorces and call for reform of marriage laws and longer lags between license and ceremony.
A short church notice states banns will be announced for three successive weeks.
