Knights of Pythias District Meeting Set in Auburn
The Knights of Pythias district meeting gathers in Auburn on February 22 with 28 lodges from Steuben LaGrange DeKalb and Noble counties and about 2500 members. Grand officers include Jonce Monahan Frank Gass Clarry Wace and Robert Miller. sessions are to be held both afternoon and evening. Julius Weaver who died January 7 at home in Fremont was born in Saxony Germany in 1842 and came to America at nine. He married Minerva Davis in Waterloo in 1862 and later lived in Fremont. He built the first brick structures in Fremont and Waterloo. He is survived by his wife a daughter Mrs Granville Straw a brother in Kansas two sisters in Fort Wayne and Missouri and a son who died years ago.

Two American Red Cross members from Fort Wayne were in the vicinity this week seeking to purchase a trivet of Bind and Locate. They are described as hard workers, honest, and good citizens.
