Complaint seeks to quiet title to real estate. An affidavit lists Ellen E Shepard Eugene Shupp Laura Sterer and unknown spouses heirs and executors as defendants not Indiana residents. Defendants must appear February 3 1912 at the Steuben Circuit Court Angola to answer or demur. Clerk John B Allman.

Wao Rt Wolfe born September 1 1844 in Cumberland County Pennsylvania. German parentage. Orphaned early, raised by neighbors, moved to Bellfontaine Ohio. Joined 13th Ohio Regiment at sixteen, captured at Andersonville, prisoner nearly a year and a half. Married 1863 to Kila Shannon. lived in Ray and nearby farms. Three children Ethie Edna Ethel and step-son D J Shannon. Joined Methodist Episcopal Church twelve years ago. Died New Year’s Day 1912 aged 67 years 4 months. Public sympathy extended.
