Bird Lover Marries Scholar Amid Ozark Home Memories
Dale Worden, drawn by a tailor bird in a taxidermist window, woos and marries Bella Vance, daughter of Robert Vance. They tour the West, visit Worden’s old Ozark mansion, and return to a burned house, planning to rebuild beside the tree house where birds nest and sing. Bella embraces a nature filled life with Worden.
