Fremont County Iowa board of supervisors met January 6 1902 with Hy U Vanilla sworn in as member and chair named Mattle Lee A Lair elected county superintendent and Ike P Dixon sheriff sworn in. They approved bonds reports and ordinance to cancel taxes on James Brewer Hamburg and refund overpayments. Auditors quantified tax redemptions and tax sale redemptions on several blocks, and warrants issued. Various county officers submitted fee reports for October to December 1901 and December 1901 quarter. Adjourned to January 7 1902.

The Fre mont county Iowa board of supervisors meeting on January 7 1902 adopted resolutions including paying Abram McClain eight dollars per month until further notice and authorizing the treasurer to cancel taxes for the year 1901 on the award of section 18 two 70 range 4 as the property belongs to a charitable institution. County Board Adopts Refund Warrants For Double Taxation
Sidney Iowa January 8 1902 the county board met by adjournment from January 7 with seven members present Chairman M Roberts and O A Edgerton and H C Vanutta adopted resolutions authorizing a refund warrant to Mat OBrien for 36.95 and to A S Williams for 31 for double taxation and double assessment respectively.
