Real estate broker A. B. Noble advertises numerous farms for sale or exchange in Fremont and Atchison counties, Iowa and Missouri. Listings include 16 acre fruit farms near Hamburg, 360 acre stock and grain farms, 650 acre holdings, and a 824 acre stock farm, with prices from 40 to 50 per acre and favorable terms. Also touted a 20 horse power feed mill and residence offering daily profits.
The Fremont County Iowa Board of Supervisors met to authorize a $4.95 refund to G A Piper for double road tax payment. Minutes record official bonds, bridge and road work payments, medical service charges, and adjournment to January 1902.
The Itre mont county Board of Supervisors met November 11 1901. They authorize tax cancellations for Mrs Cora Brackney and others and approve remitting poll taxes for Otis Curren and Margaret Fall. Refunds issued for an erroneous poll tax on Isaac Smith. They authorize redeeming from tax sale and cancel taxes for several residents. Petitions to vacate a road and create a new one were granted. Numerous claims for county expenses and road work were approved.
