Religious Reading Moody and Sankey in Chicago meetings
Moody returns to Chicago to resume Tabernacle and Farwell Hall services with Sankey and a 300-voice choir. Daily noonday prayers, Sunday gospel and worship, attendance overflowed Farwell Hall, and many invited evangelists joined from across the West. Absent Moody week, Major Whittle led noonday and afternoon services, with large crowds, and efforts to organize field campaigns next week.
