In Dakota Illinois two couples wed in September 1880. James Brown and Anna Brown married at the M. E. Church parsonage with Geo. IL Wells officiating. Murrah P. Weaver and Rev. John A. Furnier were united at O. D. Weaver’s residence with Geo. H. Wells officiating. Both couples plan to reside near Dakota after their vows.
