German Gun Shop Tragedy Ends In Own Hand
A German man purchased a heavily loaded double barreled shotgun in St Louis and, after paying $15, left with the weapon slung over his shoulder. On the sidewalk he fired into his abdomen with his foot, buckshot tearing his intestines. He died soon after in hospital. A purse and simple personal items found on him gave no clue to identity or origin. This singular death by own action is noted as the most unusual case to date.
