Six hundred members pay 5 dollars admission. no regular dues, but on a member’s death others pay 1 05 dollars. Three deaths in twenty months cost 3 15 per member, and widows received eighteen hundred dollars. The scheme favors Germans and Free Masons, modeled on German mutual aid societies.
