The ad touts Dr Fenner’s Golden Relief for neuralgia toothache headache and general pain with promises of instant relief and mentions a sample bottle at 10. It also advertises low prices on syrups and a variety of apples from Burrell Bros at 110 Stephenson St including winter apples grown in northeastern Michigan.
An old advertisement touts Dr Fenner’s Improved Cough Honey claiming relief in one hour with a sample bottle at 10c. It also markets watches jewelry and low prices at Geo P Rosk Jr offering new garden grown Teas from 10 to 80 cents a pound.
Daily delivery from Baltimore brings Mallard and Co oysters to Freeport promising high quality. Read ads urge customers to try and be convinced of the product.
Oysters arriving daily from Baltimore offered at Chicago wholesale prices by GC O D Store. Bucklen's Arnica Salve advertised as the best for cuts bruises sores and skin eruptions priced 25 cents per box sold by Emmert and Burrell in Freeport Illinois.
Pure New York Buckwheat flour Vermont maple sugar Canada pure maple Syrup and comb honey at Burrell Bros for Winter Apples that will not disappoint you in keeping qualities go to Burrell Bros.
Notice advertises Great bargains in cloaks shawls and dolmans at Walton s and lists other notices including a demand for fifty tons of old iron at Novelty Iron Works on Spring Street between Walnut and Galena Avenue with payment at market price in cash Organ Bros proprietors and BURCHARD SCOTT promotions as well as O D Grocery offering Fresh Oysters and Crackers for parties at low rates opposite Brewster House corner.
The notice promotes Lige l and high quality cigars in assorted pack sizes and various tobacco products. It also advertises Vienna bread, crackers and succulent oysters from Yorex's Steam Bakery on lower Stephenson Street, near the Post Office.
A short notice asks for the return of a small red and white spotted cow missing since Nov 2 1880. The animal is milk-producing, gentle, with large horns and long hair between them. a liberal reward is offered. The page also reprints a Democratic procession description featuring a brewery on wheels and a German Democrat with beer.
A customer from Dear Sir writes of skin eruption swelling and cough relief after using Dr. Fenner's Blood and Liver Remedy, Nerve Tonic, Salt Rheum Ointment and Honey. He reports full recovery by March after starting the treatment in February and notes sales by Emmert & Burrell.
An old promotional note extols Dr Kina’s New Discovery as a lifesaving treatment for coughs, colds, bronchitis, asthma, hay fever, hoarseness, croup and all throat lung ailments. It claims dramatic health restoration with trial bottles at ten cents and regular bottles at one dollar, sold by Emmert & Burrell.

Whittlesey at Penn House Freeport invites business offers. Burrell Bros also tout pure sugar syrup without adulteration.
CHAS. A. McNAMARA & CO. announce new fall goods of boots and shoes in all kinds and styles at 117 Stephenson Street. The notice also mentions increased government department business and directs Patent Office and Pension Office matters to Presberg & Green, attorneys, 520 7th St., Washington, D. C., with stamped envelopes for information.
Shilohs Consumption Cure is promoted as the most successful cough remedy for Croup Bronchitis and Consumption with a guaranteed test since its discovery. It is sold in 10c 50c and 1 dollar sizes by Emmert and Burrell, with Shilohs Porous Plaster available for sore lungs chest or back.
An advertisement urges readers to buy Shiloh's Vitalizer for 75 cents as a guaranteed cure for indigestion constipation dizziness loss of appetite and yellow skin. Emmert & Burrell sell the product.
An advertised remedy claims to cure catarrh diphtheria canker mouth and headache. Each bottle includes a nasal injector at no extra charge. Priced at 60 cents and sold by Emert & Burrell.
The C C D Store promotes its full coffee stock and invites customers to call for current prices before purchasing.
In sixty days Mrs. 2B EE offers millinery bargains from new rooms over Seeley Reed's with De La Bonta Tiger Lily and Trench Rouge. Prof. Subera Taylor dress-cutting system offered. ladies can sew their own outfits. Prof Allman’s dancing academy moves to Armory Hall with afternoon for students and evening sessions for adults. Also advertised are canned fruits and vegetables at low prices and the New Lion Shop repairs on Galena Street run by E B Winger.
