It also compares American fruit grower guidance on lighting and temperature for slow ripening rooms.
A Mark Lane Express summary of dairy stock praises Dutch, Short-Horn crosses, and Ayrshire cattle. Dutch cattle are large, black with sheeted backs, heavy milkers but poor butter, costly to fatten, and declining in popularity.
