Public Meeting on Locating a Female Seminary in Beloit
Citizens gathered at the Presbyterian Church basement on Tuesday evening to consider placing a high order female seminary in northern Illinois near Wisconsin. A pledge of two thousand dollars was made, and a committee was named to secure subscriptions and advance plans.
