The Fairay Evening council records show trustees A W Rice W P Hunt and John Black present. On motion Rice named Hunt President Pro Tem and an 87 48 audit for printing was approved. The board adjourned to meet again August 19 1853 at seven o'clock with WP Hunt presiding and I Barant as clerk.
