The City Clerk is authorized to prepare and file a certified copy of the ordinance with the County Clerk of Stephenson County Illinois by the second Tuesday in August 1880. The County Clerk shall determine the rate percent to yield a net twenty one thousand dollars for the 1880 city tax levy and extend taxes accordingly per state law. Introduced July 6 1880 passed July 20 1880 per council order.
