Jonesville Michigan February 1 7p community has been stirred by a remarkable case of forgery fraud and deception centered on Williard P Hazen son of Luke Hazen Hillsdale County treasurer. Hazen forged mortgages notes and signatures totaling about ten thousand dollars while evading pursuit as victims include widows lawyers merchants and farmers. He fled and remains a fugitive as authorities pursue more forged claims and losses.
