The paper invites farmers and readers connected to Stephenson County to submit articles on any subject related to the county. Partners of Step Heaven Cenanty are asked to contribute while the department remains open.
The Farmers' Club met at Damasora and Astey with a well attended session. Opening address by Mr Parley A Philips followed by a debate on whether children or housework should be neglected. The annual fur and farmers dinner date fixed at the last Thursday of September. A station meeting Aug 13 1870 saw a full attendance awaiting Mr Wise to exhibit an organ but illness prevented. Mr Norbert Smith spoke. discussion on pure water for stock and culinary use. An invitation extended for all to attend and enjoy.
