Silly Sayings and Jests From a Local Pageant

A jumble of quips, rhymes, and anecdotes from a small town scene. The piece weaves puns about hands, wolves, ships, and gears with light moral quips and snapshots of townsfolk, including a nurse, a professor, a mayor, and a poet, each delivering short witticisms. The tone resembles a Sunday miscellany card with breezy humor and local flavor.
