The Gazette extols Dr Roback's Stomach Bitters as invaluable for temperance. A devotee who struggled with alcohol reports the remedy cured cravings after four bottles and allowed him to live free from drink. Sold by Swartz & Stocking and others. A separate notice advertises extermination treatments for pests and a Woods Mower, with genuine branding from J T Bradshaw in Manny’s Brick Building Liberty Street.
Local ads announce 81 000 worth of baby carriages perambulators and canopies from C G Sanborn 115 Stephenson street with one year warranty. Mrs G C Wilson fronts spring wares linens embroideries dresses and handkerchiefs at 80 Stephenson Street and Manny’s Brick Building Liberty Street hosts a full stock of Ready Made Clothing for men youths and children. A Snowden wallpaper trimming machine and a new sweep rake reaper are offered with circulars available.

Spring 1877 market pages tout Star Clothing House with new spring suits and pantaloons, Green's Flower for dyspepsia cures, New Family Library sewing machine at 30 dollars, Territory free by A Cately & Co, W W Robey groceries, Metropolit paper, and other vendors offering low prices and goods.
The ad promotes the Trey laundering method at Corner Vin Biren and Clay streets in Mais MA with express service and prompt attention. It claims the best shirt in the market is available unlaundered for $1 at Star Clothing House.
Freeport Lime Works sells well known Freeport Lime at 25 cents per bushel cash only. Anton Thereng announces as Managing Agent for Stephenson County Farmers Cooperative Associa tion offering a full line of farm implements including Maving threshing machines. Krink Rutler & Co plan to display Spring Goods and wall paper at low prices. Adamson’s advertises Stephenson Street offerings. For rent a wirehouse at 92 Cadena Street is listed, with W G Barnes as purgitive of.
An advertisement proclaims Dr Morris Syrup of Tar Wild Cherry and Horehound as universally effective for severe coughs asthma bronchitis croup whooping cough and consumption with no opium or constipation. Trial size 10 cents large 50 cents and one dollar. Also agents for Parker’s Pleasant Worm Syrup priced 25 cents.
Cheap John John Wagner offers the lowest prices and best goods in Avent. He is a well known grocer with the largest stock in the city and invites customers to call at his store to be convinced of the bargains.
An old fashioned remedy notice promotes Hale's Coach Conovan cough syrup for kids and Centaur Liniment for humans and horses. It touts cures for coughs colds stomach issues and pains promising satisfaction or money back after use. It extols pleasant taste for children and asserts broad healing claims with minimal caution.
A Chicago based firm announces opening a Fancy Dry Goods and Gents Furnishings and Boot and Shoe store in the Opera House Block on a Saturday in March. They pledge price revolutions and invite inquiries from buyers. Desirable residence property for sale near East Freeport offers numerous adjoining lots for sale or lease.
