County Supervisors Adjourn to Settle Poor Farm Affairs
An 1866 Stephenson County board meeting handles licenses, appoints F Baker as General Superintendent of the County Poor Farm and Paupers with assistants Hunt and Pisdel, and orders day-book ledgers and proper accounts. They authorize payments, repairs, and contracts for the Poor Farm, discuss warden and physician needs, and adjourn to 11 AM with various motions approving expenditures and removing a tabled item.
