The tenth annual reunion of Stephenson County Soldiers and Sailors Association will be in Freeport Illinois on September 10 1888. Activities include a 11 am business meeting Germania Hall parade at 130 pm from the Court House to Taylors Park with Band G A R posts drum corps and veterans joining on foot or by carriage. Herman Lieb of Chicago Illinois will give the address with Dr Byers of Monroe Wisconsin and others to speak. A camp fire and music follow with speeches by comrades. Railroads will offer 1.3 round trip fare tickets to Freeport for that day.
