The Republican County Convention will be held at the Court House in Freeport on Wednesday, September 24 at 1 PM to nominate candidates for County Judge, County Clerk, County Treasurer, County Surveyor, School Commissioner and Coroner, and to consider other business. Each town will appoint delegates. the County Central Committee urges town voters to meet the first Saturday in September to choose delegates, unless otherwise appointed.
