News report from Luzon notes five hundred insurgents at Bayombong Nueva Vizaya surrendered to General Lawton. General MacArthur reports Colonel Bell's forces from the 36th and a company of the 33rd infantry defeated San Miguel and Alejandrio’s command in the hills west of Mangatarin, dispersing their concentration. An Associated Press dispatch says the Oregon, Samara and Callao with 160 sailors and marines captured the port of Vigan in South Ilocos province as insurgents fled.
