Hanged Negro in Alabama Comes to Life
In Tuskegee Alabama on November 27 Henry Dawson was hanged for murder. After the trap fell he appeared dead but fifteen minutes later was cut down and pronounced dead. A rival claim says the coffin lid was removed outside town, whiskey restored him and he revived, with no new grave found near the Buchanan place.
