The American Stars of Equity announce Freeport Assembly No 1 will hold an open meeting Tuesday evening in November. Invitations go to neighboring assemblies. The event promises music and oratory and promotes fraternalism. Freeport has about five hundred members, with many locals unaware of the society’s strength in its city of birth.
The Y M C A announces a Sunday lecture by W E Hopkins of Chicago on the caste system of the Hindus. Admission is free, with offerings to the speaker. The 3 30 pm talk will include Brahman costume and orient curios. A 2 30 pm boys meeting by W E Kautenberg on Lovers precedes it.
