Farm boy Brandt runs away to Freeport found with teacher
A 14 year old lad from near Shannon ran away yesterday and was picked up this morning by Officer Rummelhagen in Freeport and held at the station until his father could fetch him. The boy confessed to a pattern with a local school teacher and admitted he was enticed by her presence, though the parents dispute the claim. He agreed to return home after threats of reform school.
