Alumni Banquet Glows With Speech and Reunion at Freeport
An exuberant Freeport High alumni banquet featured elegant decor in white and green, a five-table arrangement, and a roll call of graduates spanning from 1864 to 1905. H. W. Aspinwall served as toastmaster as A. G. A reunion of alumni voices highlighted a diverse group including thirty five school teachers eleven ministers fifteen lawyers four dentists and thirteen physicians sharing stories of service. Professor Raines offered sharp observations on alumni participation and future meetings while a brief business session elected officers for the coming year: Fleck president Stewat vice president Wells secretary Bennethan treasurer. Enthusiasm and loyalty filled the gathering as old and young alumni affirmed strong ties to their school.
