A 61 year old Newton County Arkansas man on a Newport and Misninstoot Valley line trip became violent aboard a moving train. He attacked his wife and battled crew until restrained by a fellow passenger and a brakeman. Mrs Robinson, aged about 50, witnessed the scene as the train diverted to Beran Kentucky. The couple had recently planned to visit the husband’s brother Elfatia Robinson in Mudtinon County Kentucky.
A two man robbery crew boarded a Deliva west of horn express train last night. A desperate resistance occurred with the robbers escaping as a patrol led by Lieut. Gilot pursued them.
