Mt Carroll July 24 Walter Edmonds is under arrest as the suspect in the brutal assault on Loyal Gates the 14 year old boy. A preliminary hearing is set for next Wednesday at 10 am before Justice E T Cole. Edmonds posted 500 bond and is released until then. Gates is improving and expected to testify.
