Alabama Senator Demands Answer to Arbitration Treaty

In a Senate speech Senator Morgan denounces a letter from Minister Rodriguez as an impertinent intrusion. Bill to Hold More Texas Terms of Court Passed

In Washington on private bill day the House passed over the presidents veto a measure to hold terms of the eastern district of Texas at Beaumont by 144 to 68. Cooper of Texas argued the veto was based on a misapprehension and faulted access to Cleveland. Grosvenor mocked White House access rules and said constituents deserve direct contact with their representatives. Also reported, $3,600 in a registered mail sack from San Francisco was missing in Denver.
