The ad markets Cross Creek Lehigh coal at eight dollars per ton delivered and offers New Kentucky soft coal at three fifty per ton delivered in Lump and Nut sizes. It notes Wilmington miners are working and promises prompt delivery of coal and wood with customer satisfaction and quick service.

The eleventh annual convention of county supervisors, commissioners and clerks opened for a three day session with about three hundred delegates in attendance. Elected officers include President I. V. Hanna and Vice President W. R. Carey, with A. Jd. Hathaway recording secretary and H. Rinaker corresponding secretary. A. P. Rodewald serves as treasurer and Col. H. G. Reeves of Bloomington addressed the question of adopting a new state constitution. Also noted is the western implement and vehicle dealers’ annual convention starting with about 500 delegates and visitors in Kansas City.

Mrs Sophia Entmeier died this morning at 8 due to dropsy and cancer after years of suffering. Born February 8 1812 in Lippe Detmold Germany she would have turned 86 soon. She came to America fifty years ago settling locally and leaves six children Fred Henry August Conrad and Mrs Caroline Brinkbeck of this city and Mrs Sophia Roetger of Elroy. Funeral Friday at 2 from her home at Homer and Blackhawk streets Rev Holke officiating.
