A massive blaze at Barnes Hangover & Co. dry goods store in Buffalo, New York, destroyed the five story iron front building between Pearl Street addresses 20 and 208. The fire also damaged nearby 20 Morgan & Co. Insurance on Barnes stock and the building was valued around ten thousand dollars with substantial coverage. Large numbers of employees were in the structure when it burned. the loss is set to be rebuilt promptly.
