Car conflict over fares ends in police call near Ridott
An Interurban car arriving in the city last evening clashed with two hunters, Jack Niles and Robert Herbig, over fare collection between Ridott and Freeport. Niles escaped. Herbig was detained then released awaiting road attorney. Herbig threatened agents and was confronted by police after refusing to follow instructions.

Old Resident Charles Reitzell Dies in Chicago
Charles Reitzell seventy two, long time Robersburg native, died in Chicago after a second paralysia stroke. He settled in Stephenson county with his parents in 1840, worked near Buena Vista, later lived in Sioux Falls Yankton and Juda Wisconsin before residing with his sister Mrs. F W S Brawley at 8010 Lake Park Ave. Interment was at Belleview cemetery near Red Oak. Rev. F J Bate officiated. He was cousin to Capt W J Reitzell.

Mrs Fenner Dies After Six Week Illness At 26
Mrs Mary Koupine Fenner of 235 American Street died this morning at 11 30 due to a complication of diseases after six weeks illness. She was 26, married to August Fenner since 1899, and survived by her husband and her father. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p m from the family residence.
