Obituary: Johnnie Rutherford Dies After Heat Illness

Johnnie Rutherford eldest son of Wm. Rutherford and grandson of Thomas Shitehnon died August 16 after heat exhaustion and typhoid fever. Born May 2, 1868, he lived in Dinenstorn Downslip, Ivo County, was loved by friends and family, attended Aurora school and Cedarville revival meetings, and joined United Presbyterian Church in 1882. funeral services were held August 16 at 3 p.m. at Cedarville Cemetery with Rev. J. G. Stewart officiating.
