The C O D D store proclaims itself the largest and cheapest in the state with fruits in season, two weekly melon cars, apples by peck barrel or carlond, teas, coffees roasted in house, sugars by carload, assorted fish, canned goods, candles and nuts, bulk candy, and 5 and 10 cent counters. Free citywide delivery advertised.
President Cleveland approved a bill defining butter and taxing olean margarine. The message argues the act is a revenue measure, supports dairy farmers, and defends state versus federal powers.
