Lightning survivor saved in Russian grave custom
A four year old boy, son of John Hadock of Glen Lyon near Nanticoke, was struck by lightning. Neighbors dug a two foot grave and buried the naked child up to the mouth and nostrils. Dr E M Davis arrived as the child regained consciousness. He was taken to hospital where recovery is expected. Russians prayed around the grave claiming earth contact drew the electricity.
