The State Normal School in the Delaware Water Gap Mt Pocono region advertises free tuition under a new state law, plus inexpensive boarding at 3.50 per week. It lists departments in music elocution art drawing watercolor and a full college preparatory program with renovations including a gymnasium electric light plant and updated dormitories. A fall term opens September 8 and a new catalog for 102 will be issued free on request.

Blown Up and Uninjured Engineer Survives Boiler Blast
Charles Knapp, a young locomotive engineer at Knickerbocker colliery, was lifted through a cab window when a boiler exploded after a run to the Mahanoy City culm bank.
