Walmsley Terrace inaugurates freehold land push at Uxbridge
A large gathering in Uxbridge celebrated the purchase of the first freehold estate by the National Freehold Land Society. The Walmsley Terrace meadow near Harefield will host 70 houses with water access, and a procession featuring a triumphal arch, brass band, and tea for hundreds. Speakers from the National Reform Association and the Freehold Land Society urged wider franchise reforms and moral advancement through land ownership.
