Progress Report on Soldier's Sanatorium near Kerrville
The Kerrville Sun notes extensive McKenzie Construction work three miles southeast of Kerrville for a sanatorium for ex soldiers and sailors with tuberculosis. Two ward buildings nearly complete. plans include six more structures, cottages, a steel reservoir, a sewer system, and artesian water. Grand opening with barbecue is planned after completion. project cost around half a million dollars with labor by employees and materials by the contractor.
