In 1921 1922 1923 leaders surveyed soil erosion in the county finding three fourths of farm land slope prone to wash away. Demonstrations taught terrace building and 150 fields signed for terracing. 156 fields completed in 60 days with Martin ditcher and other equipment aiding spread.
