Frank Loth a State Highway Department employee suffered severe injuries when a Fredericksburg and Northern train struck his grader at the crossing near W. E. Smith warehouse. Loth was dragged 40 feet, the grader broke apart, and he was taken to Doctor Hanus Hospital with a broken leg a cracked hip and internal injuries.
Postmaster A H Kneese announces new train mail times due to schedule changes. Mail will depart Fredericksburg daily at 7:45 AM except Thursday when it leaves at 11:15 AM. Arrival at the local office shifts to 12:15 PM daily except Thursday and 3:45 PM on Thursday.
