Mason Highway 87 to be rebuilt toward Mason city
Twelve miles of Mason Highway 87 will be rebuilt starting near the Gillespie Mason County line and extending 12 miles toward Mason. Resident engineer H W Hooper says bids will be called August 1 and construction may start September 1 with 250 working days. The route largely follows the present road with major relocation near Loyal Valley and aims to meet modern safety standards.
