Bill Longley and His Wild Career
Frontier Times recounts Bill Longley’s brutal rise from teen outlaw to fellow hunter with Cullen M. Baker. After a vigilante lynching near Yorktown, Longley joins Baker’s band, torments a captured lyncher, and pursues raids across Texas and Arkansas while evading Federal forces. He later kills Rector in a prairie duel and aids horse thieves before Abilene escapades.
