Bride Shower Honors Mrs. Frederick Jung at June Event
Recent bride shower honored the former Corrine Klein on Sunday June 16 from 5 to 8 pm at the Weinheimer home. Hostesses included Betty Frantzen Judy Ahrens Charlene Weinheimer and Carol Wahrmund. The honoree received a green carnation corsage while mothers Mrs. Chester Klein and Mrs. Benno Jung wore daisy pompon corsages. Several classmates and relatives attended including Gwen Jung from Colorado Rhonda Klein Charlotte Jung and Mrs. Vincent Jung. The centerpiece featured pink carnations on a green and white lace table. The couple wed June 22 at St Marys Catholic Church.

Miss Gayle Doris Dittmar and Ronald Ralph Reed of Midland were married Saturday June 29 at 8 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church Fredericksburg. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Edwin Dittmar of Harper, teaches in Midland Public Schools. The groom, a Baylor University graduate and State Juvenile Parole Officer, is the son of Mr and Mrs Clelk W Reed. The ceremony featured daisies, organ music, and a daisies adorned train. A reception for 142 followed at the Convention Center Sunday House Restaurant. They plan to reside in Midland.
