Man Struck by Auto on Main Street. Injured

Peter Crenwelge was badly injured after being struck by a car while crossing Upper Main Street near his home. Ruff of Austin, the driver, stopped and helped move him to Peter Metzger’s home and called a physician. Crenwelge suffered a fractured shoulder and minor bruises. He was resting easily in latest reports.

Injured in Auto Wreck Near Fredericksburg

Mr and Mrs Wade of Snyder Texas were seriously injured Sunday afternoon when their car overturned on a Mason highway curve seven miles from Fredericksburg. Wade broke his left arm. Mrs Wade suffered chest bruises and a fractured cheekbone. They were taken to Fredericksburg for treatment while en route to visit their son in Laredo for Christmas.

Cotton bale counts reach 7563 in county by December 18

The county reports 7563 bales of cotton ginned up to December 18, compared with 6124 bales by the same date last year. This shows continued cotton production growth.

Christmas caroling delighted Fredericksburg residents on December 24. Twenty homes for the elderly and bedbound were visited. Five-Year Extension Granted for Promissory Notes

The Interstate Commerce Commission authorized the Fredericksburg and Northern Railway to extend five-year promissory notes totaling 250000 dollars for another five years. The notes, due December 28, faced no objections from creditors, reported by S. A. Express.
