Lanier Literary Society held a regular meeting with a mixed program including long, recitation, debate on US pension policy, and musical pieces. Principal Bates traveled to Waco for a teachers conference. Miss Thompson returned from Lockhart. Basketball practice began and a Lyceum event was planned at Klaerner’s Opera House. A giant stride for the Ladies Auxiliary arrived and a December 8 show at Klaerner’s Opera House was announced to benefit the auxiliary treasury.
